  My self and my colleague have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions but on our most recent visit we were both left with a sour taste in our mouths.
  I stayed in room 102 where the television was not working although I tried to ring reception there was no reply. This room also seemed a lot smaller than the normal rooms we get. There was also constant banging from your corridor doors throughout out the night and with that mixed with the noise of the large air conditioning unit that was out side my window which made a horrendous noise when in operation and a metal clanging noise when it stopped, keeping me awake throughout the night.
  My colleague stayed in Room 105 and also suffered throughout out the night with the banging corridor doors. His room was also very cold with just a small electric heater for warmth.
  On top of all of this there was also some confusion with the room payments which were paid together in one reservation via the hallmark hotels website on the company credit card. Upon checkout we were advised that the hotel only taken payment for one room which slightly confused me. We later found out that the website stores the credit card details and then the actual hotel process the transaction against the room or room slightly worrying that they are storing your credit card details and passing them around merrily. My colleague had to pay again for his room on his personal debit card which means more inconvenience for him now.
  I expressed my concerns about the noise in the rooms and the television to reception desk on checkout to which we were told next time we come we need to ask for rooms upstairs to the front the hotel as they are a lot nicer. Not an adequate response as far as I am concerned. No form of apology or would I like to speak to a manager was put forward.
  So after both of us having a very restless night we now face a tiring 250 mile car journey.
  We will think carefully before booking rooms at your hotel again we both feel that as we took advantage of the discount email you send us we were given substandard rooms as a consequence.
